This super simple recipes takes 5 mins tops and uses my favorite whole grain quick cooking oats. Add a potassium-rich punch with banana slices and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts for a crunchy bite and some heart healthy fat.

Ingredients:

1 Cup water

1/2 Cup Organic Quick Cooking Rolled Oats - Whole Grain

1 banana (medium, sliced)

1 Tablespoon walnuts

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Preparing this recipe:

Bring water to a boil in a small sauce pan. Stir in oats and reduce heat to low. Stir in ground cinnamon and stir to combine. Let oatmeal cook for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and cover for 2 minutes with slicing banana. Serve in your favorite bowl, finishing with banana and walnuts. Enjoy!
